For licensed TV operators

Vela Xtream is an independent player for iPhone and iPad, which also runs on Macs with Apple silicon and on Apple Vision Pro. It plays the standard access many operators already give their subscribers: an Xtream-compatible login, or an M3U or M3U8 playlist with an XMLTV guide. It includes no channels or content, and it is not a provider.

What your subscribers get

  • A TV guide grid of your channels, now and next, and full-screen live TV
  • Films and series with a page for every title, Continue Watching and the next episode
  • Playback for HLS, MPEG-TS, MP4 and Matroska, HEVC, AC3 and DTS, with subtitle and audio tracks
  • Casting to AirPlay, Google Cast and DLNA TVs, with the phone as the remote
  • The app in English, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Turkish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese
  • No accounts, no servers and no analytics: Vela never sees your subscribers or what they watch

What we offer licensed operators

  • We test your service in Vela and fix what we find, at no cost to you.
  • A "Tested with Vela" listing on this site, and a setup guide for your subscribers in their language.
  • Vela Pro codes for your support team, so they can help subscribers who use it.

What we ask

  • Proof that you hold the rights to what you distribute: your licence or registration with your country's regulator (for example the FCC, Ofcom, Arcom, ANATEL, RTÜK, the TDRA or the CRTC), or confirmation of your carriage agreements.
  • Written permission for Vela to play your service, which we may show Apple's App Review if they ask.
  • A test account, used only for testing.

What we don't do

  • We don't work with, list or reply to services that resell channels they have no rights to.
  • We don't sell subscriptions, take commissions or put a provider inside the app.
  • We don't name channels, leagues or events in our marketing.
